On Broadway Street between Harmonie and Library parks, Harvard Square Centre was designed by architect George Mason and constructed in 1925 as the Broadway Exchange Building for offices and shops. It donned the name of its main tenant – American Radiator – starting in the late 1920s. The 12-story structure’s style combined Beaux Arts and neoclassicism, with Italian Romanesque accents added to the terracotta facade. The property was purchased by Bedrock in 2017 and is being redeveloped into apartments and retail space.
