Harvard Square

1344 Broadway Street

Between Harmonie and Library parks, the highrise at 1344 Broadway Street was designed by architect George Mason and constructed in 1925 as the Broadway Exchange Building for various offices and stores. The 12-story structure’s style combined Beaux Arts and Neoclassicism, with Romanesque accents added to the terracotta facade. The property was renamed the Harvard Square Center in the 1980s and purchased by Bedrock in 2017.
