Sugar Factory American Brasserie Expands To Michigan With New Downtown Detroit Location

DETROIT – Wednesday, January 26, 2022 – Sugar Factory American Brasserie, America’s favorite celebration destination, is set to debut its newest location in Detroit in late spring 2022. The first Michigan outpost of the global brand will offer a sweet escape that the entire family can enjoy. From glamorous and Instagrammable dining rooms, to over-the-top entrees and legendary desserts, Sugar Factory provides an exciting, immersive and memorable experience for any occasion.

Located at 45 Monroe Street in Bedrock’s One Campus Martius building, the 233-seat restaurant will also feature Sugar Factory’s candy retail store with hundreds of candy options.

Guests can expect an immersive experience from the moment they enter Sugar Factory. The main dining area offers both indoor and outdoor seating, and is filled with photo-worthy moments, from neon signs, floral walls, and a colorful candy heart wall that is perfect for posing. The outdoor patio will offer a lush open-air space to dine.

Guests can enjoy Sugar Factory’s signature breakfast, lunch and dinner offerings like the Flaming HOT Cheetos Burger, an eight-ounce Angus burger topped with Flaming Hot Cheetos crusted pepper jack cheese, pickles, shredded lettuce, chipotle mayo and served on a Hot Cheetos crusted bun, and the Sugar Factory Rainbow Sliders served on colorful buns with American cheese, pickles, crispy onions, signature sauce and a complimentary duck to take home. For dessert, Sugar Factory’s over-the-top Insane Milkshakes are lavishly decorated and served in chocolate-covered mugs. Favorites include the Cookie Monster Make a Wish Insane Milkshake and the Caramel Sugar Daddy Cheesecake Insane Milkshake made with blended vanilla ice cream, cheesecake, caramel and topped with whipped cream, a slice of New York style cheesecake, Sugar Daddy candy and a rainbow lollipop served in a chocolate covered mug with crushed graham crackers. Sugar Factory’s most legendary dessert is the sensational King Kong Sundae, which serves up to 12 people and features 24 scoops of ice cream covered with sprinkles, gummy bears, caramel sauce, fudge sauce and giant whirly pops.

Stepping into the candy retail store, guests can explore Sugar Factory’s iconic floor-to-ceiling candy wall, which offers a variety of sweet treats, including the brand’s famous Couture Pops, and snap pictures in-front of the Instagram-worthy Candy Dot Wall.

The restaurant will feature indoor and outdoor bar seating, where guests can enjoy full menu service complete with Sugar Factory’s oversized, alcohol-infused, celebrity-approved smoking candy goblets, like the Cali Love featuring Kendall Jenner’s 818 Tequila blended with crisp apple and tropical pineapple flavor and topped with sweet key lime slices and apple rings; The Rock’s The Peoples Watermelon Cadillac Margarita, made with his Teremana Tequila; and Nick Cannon’s The Big Cloud made with a blend of Voli vodka, Selvarey rum, tropical pineapple, fresh peach and melon and topped with fluffy blue raspberry cotton candy garnish. All of these goblets can also be made without alcohol.

Sugar Factory Detroit will be located at 45 Monroe Street and will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
