Brush Park

Near Comerica Park and Ford Field, City Modern was masterminded by Bedrock, the Brush Park Community Development Corporation and Hunter Pasteur Homes and designed by architecture firms Christian Hurttienne, Hamilton Anderson, Lorcan O’Herlihy, Merge and Studio Dwell. Constructed in 2022 and centered on a square block, the contemporary community comprises 20 ground-up properties and four renovated Victorian mansions, with a total of 400 for-rent and for-sale individual residences. Some of the market-rate and affordable apartment buildings include fitness centers, rooftop terraces and underground parking garages for residents, along with restaurants and retailers. The Mews pocket parks stretch throughout the neighborhood.
